Terms & Conditions - Autumn 2025 Scotmid Co-op Pilot Refer a Friend Programme

This Refer a Friend Programme (the “Programme”) is run by Olio (UK company no. 09428660). By participating in the Programme, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”).

1. The Reward

1.1 Eligible participants (“Referrers”) will receive a £10 cash reward for each eligible referral.

1.2 Rewards will be paid via bank transfer.

1.3 The reward is non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable.

1.4 Olio reserves the right to change, suspend, or withdraw the Programme at any time.

2. How to Refer

2.1 To qualify, Referrers must:

Encourage a friend or family member (the “Referred User”) to sign up as a Food Waste Hero in the Olio app.
Confirm the Referred User’s Olio User ID and their own User ID.
Submit these details via the official form provided by Olio.
Ensure that the Referred User successfully completes their first eligible Food Waste Hero collection.

2.2 A Referred User must:

Be a new Food Waste Hero who has not previously completed a Scotmid Co-op collection.
Complete their first collection during the promotional period 1st October - 11:59 pm on 16th November 2025

2.3 Once the Referred User’s first collection has been verified by Olio, the Referrer will qualify for the reward.

3. Eligibility

3.1 The Programme is open only to existing Food Waste Heroes who are residents of Scotland and aged 18 or over.

3.2 Employees of Olio, affiliated companies, or anyone professionally associated with this Programme may not participate.

3.3 There is no limit to the number of referrals a Referrer may make, unless Olio specifies otherwise.

4. Allocation of Rewards

4.1 Rewards will be processed by bank transfer within 30 days of verification of the Referred User’s first collection.

4.2 If the Referred User does not complete a collection or fails to meet the eligibility criteria, no reward will be paid.

4.3 Olio reserves the right to withhold or cancel rewards where it believes there has been misuse of the Programme or a breach of these Terms.

5. Data Protection

5.1 Any personal data collected in connection with this Programme will be used in accordance with Olio’s Privacy Policy.

This Programme is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Scotmid Co-op.
