How do I delete my account?
To delete your account, please go to the account section in your app menu. Then, tap on “Delete my account”.
I deleted my account, but I've changed my mind – can you restore it?
No, unfortunately, we're not able to restore accounts.
⚠️ Please note: deleting your account and creating a new one to circumvent a suspension is against our rules, and any additional accounts will be restricted from accessing the Food Waste Hero programme.

In these cases we're not able to remove the restriction from the new account or restore your previous account, which means you'll permanently lose access to the Food Waste Hero programme.
What happens to my data?
We keep your details for 30 days. So, in this period you may receive automated emails if you are subscribed to them.
When you request to delete your account, either contacting us via email or automatically via the app, your data will be kept in the system for one week after the deletion. This scrubs your name, email, location, address, Facebook ID, and telephone number.
However, we keep articles, conversations, and payment details. If you wish to learn more about how your data is stored, please click HERE.
Please bear in mind that your ratings will also disappear.
