🔧 Troubleshooting steps
If your app is running slowly, freezing, or behaving strangely, try the following steps in order:
1️⃣ Check your internet connection
Make sure you're connected to Wi-Fi or have mobile data switched on.
2️⃣ Check you're using the latest version
Go to the App Store or Google Play and search for Olio. If an update is available, tap to install it. You can also check your current version by opening the app, tapping the ☰ menu, and going to Account.
3️⃣ Log out and log back in
Sometimes a quick log out and back in is all it takes.
4️⃣ Clear your cache
Within the Olio app: tap the ☰ menu in the top right, go to Account, then scroll down to Clear cached data.
On iPhone (via Settings): open Settings, scroll down to Olio, and toggle Clear cache.
On Android (via Settings): open Settings, then Storage, then Internal Storage, then Cached Data, and tap OK.
5️⃣ Restart your phone
Turn your phone off and back on again, then reopen the app.
6️⃣ Reinstall the Olio app
Press and hold the Olio app icon and select Uninstall or Delete. Reinstall from the App Store or Google Play, log back in, and check if the issue is resolved.
