Does Olio receive £25 per collection for Food Waste Hero collections?

The Olio Food Waste Heros programme generates revenue by charging businesses for the service we provide, either per collection slot, or per location per year 

The figure Olio charges varies by collection type, the number of locations a business has and by how much work is involved to administer the collection. 

For a one-off collection at a location with infrequent collections, we can sometimes charge up to £25 per collection. However, for the vast majority of our collections (including the regular collections from household names), the figure is less than 5% of the £25 that is sometimes quoted on the forum. 

It is also important to understand that while Olio charges partners, we are a long way from being profitable (currently our revenues cover only approximately 30% of our cost base)
