⭐ How do I rate another user?
Go to your messages inbox.
Tap the profile picture of someone you've recently messaged.
Give a star rating (5 is high, 1 is low).
Think about the other person's communication, how punctual the pick-up was, and whether the item matched the listing.
🤝 Why do we have ratings?
Ratings help Olioers see whether someone has been reliable, polite, and easy to share with. They make the whole community experience better.
🧮 How is my rating calculated?
Once you've received 3 ratings, your average shows on your profile.
Once you've received 10 ratings, your highest and lowest are set aside so a single rating can't unfairly skew your average.
🙈 Are ratings anonymous?
Yes, ratings are anonymous. When you only have a few, you might still notice your average move up or down as a new one comes in.
✏️ Can I change a rating?
Each person can rate you once, and they can update that rating at any time.
🚦 How does my rating affect my account?
If you receive 3 low ratings (below 3 stars) within one month, and your average for the last month is below 3 stars, your account will be suspended for 30 days to keep sharing positive for everyone.
📈 How can I improve my rating?
Ask people you've shared with to leave you a rating.
Be polite, punctual, and clear in your messages.
Keep adding and requesting listings, aiming for a great experience each time.
✅ Who can I rate?
You can rate someone once the person who added the listing has confirmed it's going to be collected. Both people can then rate each other, including when a pick-up didn't happen: letting a "no-show" leave a rating too keeps the system fair.
🔧 Ratings aren't working, or I can't rate someone
If you can't rate someone, the app may not yet recognise that you've shared a listing. The person who added it needs to confirm the pick-up in your message thread, marking that you're collecting the item. Once that's done, you'll both be able to rate each other.
❓ My rating has disappeared
First, check you're logged into the right account. If you've been suspended, your previous ratings are cleared so you can start fresh once you're back.
