➕ Add a listing
Here's how to share an item on Olio:
Tap the purple Add button (the + in the middle of the bottom bar).
Choose Free to give something away, then pick a category: Food or Non-food.
Tap Add up to 10 images and take a photo or choose one from your library.
Tap AI-ify ✨ to fill in the title and description from your photo, then check the details and edit anything that isn't quite right.
Add or confirm the title and description.
Choose the quantity (1 to 5, or tap Other).
Set your pick up times and add any pick up instructions, for example "Please message me when you're near".
Tap Confirm your location and check the map is correct.
Choose how long to list for and when to make it live, then tap Submit.
That's it 🎉 You'll see a confirmation where you can share your listing or add another.
👉 For food with a "Use By" date, remember it must be unlisted by midnight on that date.

✨ What is AI-ify?
AI-ify is a quick way to fill in a listing for you. Once you've added a photo, tap AI-ify ✨ and Olio suggests a title and description based on what's in the picture.
You can edit anything it suggests before you post, so it's there to save you typing. Using it is completely optional.
⚙️ Edit a listing
From your home screen, tap the menu icon ≡ in the top right corner.
Tap My listings.
Find the listing you want to edit.
Tap the pencil icon and make your changes.
✅ Confirm a listing has been collected
If an Olioer has requested it and is picking it up, tap the purple button in your message thread with them to confirm the request. "Pick up arranged" is the final stage, so there's no need to mark it as collected ✅
You can then keep the item available to others (if you have several) or unlist it (if that's all you have)

If no one requests it via the app, let it expire or unlist it after its Use By date.
🗑️ Remove or unlist a listing
You can't fully delete a listing, you can only unlist it. Olio uses your listings to measure your impact and the community's overall impact, so they stay on your record.
To unlist an item that hasn't been collected, tap the menu icon ≡ at the top of the screen, then My listings, select the listing and tap Unlist.
💸 Flip to Free
If your item hasn't sold, we'll message you with the option to flip your sale listing to free with one tap.
📢 Reminder: if you use Flip to Free, please remove any mention of a price from the description so your listing isn't removed 😊
