What are free Virtual Gifts? Virtual gifts are free little tokens of appreciation you can send to an Olioer you've shared with. You choose a gift (like a flower 🌸) and can add a personal message. It's a small gesture that goes a long way!
There are 2 ways to send one:
From a conversation: if it's your first time sharing with someone and you are the requester, look out for the prompt in your conversation thread.
From someone's public profile: visit the profile of an Olioer you've shared with and tap "Send a thank you" at the top.
Who can send Virtual Gifts? Anyone who's had an interaction on Olio! As long as you've rated each other, either of you can send a free virtual gift 💚
Can I send more than one Virtual Gifts to the same person? Yes! You can send as many as you like, because sometimes one just isn't enough.
Where can I see the Virtual Gifts I've received? Head to your My Impact page and look for the new "Gifts received" carousel. Tap any gift to open the message 😊
Do I have to add a message? Nope, you can skip the message and just send a gift.
What gifts can I send? You can pick from a selection of illustrated gifts, including flowers, a heart-shaped earth, and a baguette :)
Will someone I've blocked be able to see my Virtual Gifts? No. If you've blocked someone (or been blocked by them), Virtual Gifts between you won't show up on either side
