📦 What “Pick up arranged” means
When your item is going to a specific person, your listing shows a yellow Pick up arranged badge. It means the pick up is confirmed, and it’s the final step for that listing. There are two ways to get there, depending on how the request came in.
🙋 If someone requested your item in the app
In your chat, you’ll see the question “Is [name] going to pick this up?” Tap Yes to confirm them. Your listing will then show Pick up arranged.
🚶 If someone collected it without requesting, for example at the door
Ideally, ask them to request the item in the app first, then tap Yes in your chat as above. This keeps things fair and clear for everyone.
If that doesn’t happen, open the listing and tap Someone is collecting this. Your listing will then show Pick up arranged.
🏁 It’s the final step
Once your listing shows Pick up arranged, you’re done. There isn’t a separate collected or given step to look for afterwards. If you’ve been searching for one, this is why you couldn’t find it.
🤔 If no one requested your item
This is when nobody asked for it at all. There’s nothing to confirm or cancel. After a reasonable amount of time, just let the listing expire.
🔄 If your listing shows “Pick up arranged,” but the item wasn’t collected
This is when you confirmed a pick up, but the person didn’t turn up or couldn’t collect. In your chat, tap Cancel pick up. The app will ask whether you want to:
Cancel this pick up, or
Cancel and relist listing, which makes the item available to everyone again.
Only relist if the item is still safe to share and within its Use By date.

👀 Using it honestly
Please only set “Pick up arranged” when a real pick up is happening. Setting it when no pick up actually took place isn’t what the feature is for, and our team keeps an eye on how it’s used.
